This year's most anticipated Tech event so far has the release of Apple's iPad. Rumours had been circulating for at least a year, and then in late January the announcement was made.
The iPad looks remarkably like an over-sized iPhone, which makes sense considering it runs the same operating system and uses the same touchscreen technology. You could even say that the iPhone was a training device for the iPad. Configurations will range from 16 to 64gb of internal memory, all with built-in wifi and bluetooth. Some models will have an internal 3G (cellular) modem, but none have a camera. One disappointment, however, is the lack of support for Flash, a key component of many websites.
